Short answer
TNPath’s guides and letters are built from primary sources, and the letter generator is re-tested automatically every time anything in it changes. This page describes those checks so you can decide how much weight to give them.
Every letter is re-tested automatically
The generator covers all 63 TN professions. After every change, an automated test rebuilds letters and packet guides for every profession across thousands of answer combinations — degree names, job setups, family situations, edge cases — and compares the output word for word with the previous version. A difference that is not the intended change stops the release until it is explained.
The TN list, word for word
Each profession’s credential wording is quoted from the TN list itself: Appendix 2 to Annex 16-A of USMCA Chapter 16, as published at 8 CFR 214.6(c). A second automated check compares every quoted rule on the site against that list text. If a quote drifts from the regulation, the check fails.
Official sources only
Facts come from the regulations, USCIS, CBP and the State Department — not from forums, social media or other immigration sites. Every guide carries a Last reviewed date. Fees are re-checked against the USCIS fee schedule and CBP’s published notices; the fee table in the TN visa cost guide shows the source and the check date for each figure.
What TNPath does not do
- It is not a law firm and gives no legal advice.
- It never decides whether a person or a job qualifies. Only CBP or USCIS decides that.
- It does not contact your employer.
- It does not keep your builder answers on a server. They stay in your browser while you build; the optional proofread and the emailed backup are explained in the privacy policy.
Checks reduce errors; they cannot remove them, and nothing here is a promise about an outcome. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] — corrections are made and dated.
